The Round Robin Lead Assigment for Zoho CRM helps you automate the lead assignment process by assigning leads to all of the users in your Zoho CRM account, in a round robin fashion. This system provides an equal opportunity for all members of your sales team to interact with customers and make sales. When you install this extension, you will get two custom fields in the Leads Module: Lead Number and Assign Using Active Rule Assignment Rule, as well as a Workflow Rule and Custom Function to assign leads automatically.
Install Round Robin Lead Assignment
To install Round Robin Lead Assignment
- Go to Setup > Marketplace > All.
- Click All Extensions, then find and select Round Robin Lead Assignment to view all extension details.
- Click Install Now.
- Agree to the terms of service and click Continue to Install.
- Choose which users you want to install the extension for.
- Install for admin only - The extension will only be installed for users with an administrator profile.
- Install for all users - The extension will be installed in CRM for all the users.
- Choose profiles - The extension will be installed only for the users belonging to the selected profile. Choose this option, click Continue and then select the profiles.
- Click Confirm.
The extension will be installed automatically for those users.
Assign Leads using Round Robin Leads Assignment
Each time you create a new lead, a lead number will be generated automatically. Select the Assign Using Active Assignment Rule checkbox to trigger Round Robin workflow rule and the lead will be assigned to users according to the lead number.
The lead assignment works on the basis of modulo division. For example, if there are three users in your Zoho CRM account, every lead with a lead number whose modulo division is 1 will be assigned to the first user, leads with modulo division value 2 will be assigned to the second user and so on.
Note:
- If you do not select the Assign Using Active Assignment Rule checkbox while creating a lead, the lead will be assigned to the user who is creating the lead and not based on the round robin method.
- The last user will always be the super admin of the CRM account. Other users will be numbered in the increasing order of their user ID. For example, if there are three users, the super admin will be the third user.
- This extension does not work when the leads are imported.
Uninstall Round Robin Lead Assignment
When you uninstall the Round Robin Lead Assignment extension, all data related to Round Robin Lead Assignment will be deleted. This will not affect the ownership of any existing leads.
To uninstall Round Robin Lead Assignment:
- Go to Setup > Marketplace > All.
- Find and select Round Robin Leads Assignment in the All Extensions section.
- Click the corresponding Uninstall link.
- Click OK to confirm.
The extension will be uninstalled and all data related to Round Robin Leads Assignment will be deleted.
